Instructional Designer Specialist II

Responsibilities

• Perform cause, knowledge, or gap analyses to determine learning delivery approaches
• Develop course guides for curriculum and EvolvEd™ courses to support facilitation
• Select instructional design methods, media, and facilitation styles for organizational interventions
• Build supportive materials to enhance performance improvement strategies
• Align course content with instructor-led, e-learning, or blended methods
• Design and execute online course assembly and packaging within the LMS and authoring tools
• Develop and refine tests, scoring guides, and curriculum
• Map course topics, objectives, and assignments to ensure standards and assessments are met
• Participate in cross-functional projects and optimize training development processes

Requirements

• Master's degree in Learning Science, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience designing learning technology or environments
• 2+ years of experience developing courses in an LMS and authoring tools
• Demonstrated experience designing assessments within distance learning
• Understanding of concept-based, competency-based, and project-based learning models
• Experience contributing to learning design systems with multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years gathering and applying peer-reviewed scholarly and user research
• Experience in Nursing, Allied Health, or Health Sciences Education
• Experience in micro-credentialing
