Junior Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• User management, including onboarding, offboarding, and access management
• Provisioning new hosts and maintaining existing production servers across bare metal, public cloud, and private cloud environments
• Managing DNS records, domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and decommissioning
• Performing security-related tasks, including firewall configuration and regular operating system updates
• Monitoring infrastructure, responding to alerts and incidents
• Handling requests through the Jira ticketing system
• Creating new services and integrating them into the existing infrastructure
• Developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate routine administration tasks
• Writing and maintaining clear documentation for services, tasks, and procedures

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of RHEL-based operating systems (CentOS, AlmaLinux)
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
• Experience with bare metal servers, virtual machines, and containers
• Basic understanding of infrastructure and service monitoring
• Familiarity with Ansible or other configuration management tools
• Proficiency in spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with Bash or Python
• Experience with GitLab CI or Jenkins
• Familiarity with Git
• Familiarity with FreeIPA, LDAP, or Google Workspace administration
