Junior Product Illustrator

Responsibilities

• Create new artwork and complete sets in Hadley Designs' established style across product lines
• Draw and illustrate original elements like characters, motifs, patterns, and scenes
• Turn creative direction into finished, production-ready product designs
• Own execution offload including variations, building out design sets, and file prep
• Prepare print and production files to spec and build product mockups
• Maintain style consistency across the full product catalog

Requirements

• Portfolio of original illustration work with a cute, playful, or kid-friendly sensibility
• Working proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for native illustration
• Ability to match and extend an existing art style
• Strong ability to translate written and verbal creative direction into finished work
• Ability to manage multiple pieces and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience preparing print and production files to spec
• Familiarity with children's, educational, or consumer-product industries
• Comfort with project management tools like Notion or ClickUp
