Junior Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle recruiting activities for cleared and uncleared positions
• Source candidates utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, referrals, and internal database (ATS)
• Manage 4-6 active requisitions and support additional hiring needs for federal contract awards
• Conduct initial recruiter screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams
• Maintain accurate and timely data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through consistent communication
• Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, and networking initiatives

Requirements

• 1–3 years of recruiting or staffing experience
• Previous experience supporting government contracting or technical recruiting
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Ability to utilize creative sourcing strategies and Boolean searches
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Exposure to DoD or federal civilian recruiting
• Familiarity with security clearances and government contracting terminology
• Experience supporting recruiting coordination and candidate scheduling
