Responsibilities

  • Create multiple English title options for Korean content that resonate with global audiences
  • Balance natural English phrasing with cultural authenticity to reflect original storylines
  • Provide detailed rationales for title choices in both English and Korean
  • Collaborate with global production and localization teams to ensure brand voice consistency
  • Deliver high-quality copy edits within fast-paced project deadlines

Requirements

  • Native proficiency in English with an excellent command of Korean
  • 3+ years of professional translation experience with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, OR 5+ years of experience without a degree
  • Proven experience in copywriting and copy-editing Korean to English content
  • Strong understanding of marketing tone, brand voice, and customer-facing communication
  • Excellent attention to detail and linguistic accuracy
  • Ability to be responsive and open to feedback and revisions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a transcreator with a passion for marketing
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multicultural environment
