Lead Native App Engineer

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of an exciting new, unannounced project
• Own the entire codebase end-to-end
• Develop native apps for iOS and Android
• Build for desktop platforms
• Ensure high performance, smooth animations, and robust offline states
• Dive into native code and resolve complex build system issues
• Balance high-quality craft with pragmatic shipping schedules

Requirements

• Strong background in developing native apps for iOS and Android using React Native
• Experience with Expo
• Experience building for desktop using frameworks like Tauri or Electron
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate clearly via async writing
• Generalist mindset capable of stretching across frameworks and platforms
