Lead ROI Medical Records Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process ROI requests from facilities accurately and in accordance with established procedures
• Validate requests and authorizations for medical record releases based on company policy and legal guidelines
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and correct billing
• Provide onboarding and training for new employees
• Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for customer service issues
• Assist with administrative tasks such as queue management and work assignments
• Monitor production, utilization, and quality metrics for the team
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of ROI fulfillment experience with Sharecare HDS or 4 years of external ROI experience
• Advanced knowledge of multiple EMR platforms and ROI request types
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to mentor colleagues
• Ability to meet productivity and quality performance standards
