Legal Assistant

Responsibilities

• Download, organize, rename, and upload medical records accurately and consistently
• Complete assigned Filevine tasks independently and keep case information organized
• Manage documents within EvenUp and assist with preparing materials for case review
• Assist with basic pleadings, filings, and other litigation support tasks
• Maintain clean, consistent naming conventions and filing practices
• Use and learn tools such as Filevine, EvenUp, ChatGPT Pro, and Briefpoint
• Execute repetitive administrative tasks accurately and reliably

Requirements

• Prior legal support experience, preferably in personal injury or litigation
• Familiarity with personal injury case documents and medical records
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort with learning and using legal technology platforms
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong written English communication skills
• Comfort with repetitive administrative work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Filevine
• Experience with EvenUp
• Experience with medical record management
• Experience in a plaintiff personal injury firm
• Exposure to ChatGPT, Briefpoint, or other AI-assisted legal tools
