Mainframe DevOps Migration Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead and support migration projects from CA Endevor and other source-code management platforms to IBM DBB, Git, IDz, and IBM DevOps Deploy / IDD
• Analyze, convert, and validate existing Endevor-based applications and development flows
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot IBM DevOps migration tools in customer environments
• Support build, branching, repository, and pipeline transition activities in IBM Z DevOps
• Prepare and deliver customer training sessions and technical presentations related to DevOps migration and IBM tooling

Requirements

• Strong z/OS / IBM Z mainframe background
• Hands-on migration experience from CA Endevor to IBM DBB, Git, IDz, and IBM DevOps Deploy / IDD
• Experience analyzing, converting, and troubleshooting migration of application build and change-management processes
• Strong working knowledge of TSO/ISPF, JCL, USS, and REXX
• Working knowledge of Git, repositories, branching, YAML, and Groovy scripting
• Strong problem-determination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with applications development on IBM Z
• Exposure to Easytrieve-to-COBOL conversion and IBM Migration Utility
• Hands-on experience in mainframe modernization and enterprise DevOps transformation
