Manager, Strategic Initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of project managers delivering high-priority strategic initiatives
• Act as a player-coach by personally managing complex or highly visible projects
• Assign projects based on business priorities, complexity, and team capacity
• Establish and maintain common project management standards, templates, and governance routines
• Translate executive objectives into clear project charters, scope, and success measures
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide concise executive-level reporting
• Support acquisition integration planning and post-transaction execution
• Maintain visibility across the portfolio regarding status, capacity, and delivery risk

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in project, program, or strategic initiative management
• Minimum 3 years of direct people leadership experience
• Proven track record of delivering business and technology initiatives with measurable outcomes
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and SharePoint
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills for C-level executives

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PgMP, or CSM certification
