Marketing Translator (Turkish/Italian)

Responsibilities

• Translate marketing and tourism documentation from Italian into Turkish
• Ensure target text accurately reflects the meaning and tone of the source material
• Perform Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) to optimize text quality
• Apply linguistic tasks according to project instructions, including glossaries and style guides
• Maintain high grammatical accuracy and correct cultural references
• Manage formatting, tagging, punctuation, and terminology consistency

Requirements

• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, or equivalent professional experience
• Native Turkish speaker with excellent command of the Italian language
• Proven experience in Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE)
• Proficiency with CAT tools and general IT skills
• Experience in marketing or tourism sector translation and proofreading
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
