Mechanical Engineer Sr. – Design Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design process for complex engineering projects from concept through delivery
• Develop, review, and coordinate mechanical design documentation, drawings, calculations, and technical deliverables
• Guide and mentor designers and engineers to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with project standards
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, process, structural, and BIM professionals
• Review technical requirements, specifications, and engineering standards to ensure designs are fit for purpose
• Support technical problem-solving, design reviews, and engineering decision-making throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced English fluency
• Solid experience in mechanical design engineering, ideally in industrial or plant environments
• Proven experience leading design efforts and coordinating technical teams
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience creating, reviewing, and interpreting mechanical drawings, layouts, and P&IDs

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Experience working in BIM-based project environments
• Background in coordination with international or remote teams
• Experience in EPC, industrial, manufacturing, or process-related projects
