Job description

Responsibilities

  • Direct the staging, configuration, provisioning, and production integration of all new metro network assets
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a regional team of Network Deployment Engineers
  • Act as the primary regional point of contact for Network Architecture, Capacity Planning, and Data Center Operations
  • Partner with hardware vendors and third-party integrators to resolve hardware/firmware bugs
  • Direct regional CAPEX and OPEX allocations and negotiate cost-efficient vendor contracts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 5 years in network engineering, infrastructure deployment, or data center engineering
  • Experience staging and commissioning enterprise or service provider-grade routing and switching platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or Nokia)
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN-VXLAN, and physical layer technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in hyper-scale cloud environments, tier-1 ISPs, or major telecommunications metro networks
  • At least 2 years in a technical lead or people management role
