Mid-Level Data Specialist

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports to track KPIs
• Perform root cause analysis and statistical modeling to identify business trends
• Coordinate with Professional Services to perform data migrations
• Analyze data exports and develop custom dashboards and content
• Partner with department leaders and Data Engineers to translate business needs into analytical requirements
• Streamline manual data gathering tasks and improve existing workflows
• Manage database migrations and data schema mapping

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of industry-related experience
• Experience performing security engineering functions
• Experience developing and modifying scripts
• Experience mapping inheritance and Common Control Catalogs
• Experience developing or tuning Risk Scoring
• Ability to obtain security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of migrating data in a controlled manner
• Deep understanding of syntax including CSV, JSON, and OSCAL
