Neurologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive telehealth neurological evaluations for patients involved in personal injury claims
• Perform independent medical examinations (IMEs) and thorough reviews of medical records, imaging, and prior treatment history
• Author detailed, well-substantiated medical-legal reports addressing diagnosis, causation, prognosis, and treatment recommendations
• Provide expert opinions and deposition or testimony support for attorneys, insurers, or case managers
• Diagnose and evaluate trauma-related neurological conditions such as TBI, post-concussive syndrome, and whiplash
• Collaborate with referring attorneys, adjusters, and clinical teams to ensure high-quality evaluations
• Maintain meticulous, litigation-ready documentation in accordance with legal and clinical standards

Requirements

• MD or DO with board certification in Neurology
• Active, unrestricted Texas state medical license
• Experience evaluating and treating trauma-related neurological conditions (TBI, concussion, whiplash, spinal injury)
• Excellent written communication skills for producing legally sound reports
• Proficiency with telehealth and EMR/documentation platforms
• Willingness to provide deposition testimony or courtroom appearances as needed
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to render objective, unbiased medical opinions

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience conducting IMEs, medical-legal evaluations, or expert witness work
• Fellowship training or subspecialty certification in brain injury medicine, pain medicine, or neurorehabilitation
• Familiarity with personal injury protocol (PIP), workers' compensation, or no-fault insurance frameworks
• Multi-state medical licensure
