NEUROPHYSIOLOGY TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities

Performs standard electroencephalographic recordings under minimum direction, performs nerve conduction studies records evoked potentials and assists in EMG.

Performs and assists diagnostic testing including EEG, NCS, EMG, EP and tremor study procedure.

Requirements

Diploma in NEUROPHYSIOLOGY TECHNOLOGY.

Valid license to practice from country of origin.

Valid registration from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as NEUROPHYSIOLOGY TECHNICIAN.

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as Clinical Neurophysiology Technician.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge applying electrodes, recognizes and eliminates artifacts, calibrates and troubleshoots equipment, selects amplifier setting and obtains quality data.

Basic knowledge in Pediatrics (neonates, children’s and adults) encephalography.
