Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual patient assessments including history, symptoms, and guided physical exams
• Diagnose and manage GI-related conditions in alignment with clinical protocols
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests within scope of practice
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and care team
• Escalate complex or high-risk cases to supervising physician as needed
• Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic health record
• Participate in case reviews, chart audits, and team meetings

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License in the United States
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
• Experience managing patients with chronic conditions or in a GI specialty (e.g., IBS, IBD)
• Ability to practice independently within scope while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior telehealth experience
• Multistate licensure
• Experience with motivational interviewing or patient-centered counseling approaches
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish strongly preferred)
