Outpatient Coding Auditor

Responsibilities

• Perform coding audits on a variety of facility outpatient record types
• Identify trends based on coding audit findings
• Formulate final reporting including recommendations and corrective action plans
• Communicate findings and recommendations via conference calls

Requirements

• AHIMA or AAPC certification
• 2-3 years minimum experience performing outpatient facility audits
• Previous outpatient coding experience
• Expert surgical CPT experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
