Job description

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate code assignments for facility outpatient, same day surgery, and observation records
  • Meet client productivity targets while maintaining coding quality of 95% or greater
  • Maintain a committed regular schedule with reliable and punctual attendance

Requirements

  • AHIMA or AAPC certification
  • Minimum of three years of coding experience in an acute care setting
  • Experience accurately assigning ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes to outpatient records
  • Technical competency with remote connectivity including VPN, multi-factor authentication, and video conferencing
  • Proficiency with Outlook and Excel
