Pashto Audio Transcription & Quality Reviewer

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio recordings and produce accurate, verbatim transcriptions in Pashto
• Capture filler words, repetitions, and false starts to ensure high-quality data
• Add speaker labels for multi-speaker recordings involving 2–8 participants
• Insert precise timestamps for text segments with 500ms accuracy
• Annotate non-speech events such as laughter, background noise, or unclear audio
• Follow detailed project instructions and maintain high quality standards

Requirements

• Expert-level fluency in Pashto, including familiarity with regional accents and informal speech
• Strong listening comprehension and high attention to detail
• Ability to produce verbatim transcriptions, including stutters and repetitions
• Access to a laptop or desktop computer (mobile devices are not supported)
• Reliable internet connection
• Availability for 20+ hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in transcription, annotation, or linguistics
