Physician, Endocrinologist

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care focusing on evidence-based obesity treatment and chronic weight management
• Manage a personal patient panel and collaborate with Registered Dietitians
• Provide treatment planning and medical management for complex cases
• Prescribe non-controlled obesity medications
• Ensure clinical documentation and treatment protocols are followed
• Assist in the professional development of APPs through feedback and clinical support
• Participate in team-based care initiatives and quality improvement efforts
• Participate in a rotating after-hours call schedule

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with board certification
• ABOM diplomate or board certified in Endocrinology
• Licensed to practice in CT, DE, ME, NH, NJ, PA, RI, or VT
• Must hold an LOQ with the IMLC
• Experience with insurance payer credentialing
• Experience conducting telemedicine visits
• Experience working with APPs and Registered Dietitians
• Spanish medical fluency is highly preferred
