Job description

Responsibilities

  • Audit existing infrastructure components to identify cloud-specific dependencies and build a migration backlog
  • Design and implement cloud-agnostic abstractions over compute, networking, and storage layers
  • Maintain and evolve Kubernetes-based workload orchestration to run portably across cloud environments
  • Collaborate with platform and product engineering teams to ensure multi-cloud portability is built into new work
  • Contribute to architecture decisions regarding target cloud environments and colocated infrastructure

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering
  • Deep expertise with Kubernetes and running it across multiple environments
  • Experience with Pulumi or similar infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tooling
  • Proven experience with cloud abstraction, portability, or re-platforming initiatives
  • Experience working in async or globally distributed teams
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
