Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services in Python: REST API, data models, and asynchronous workers
• Participate in the development of platform features integrated across multiple games
• Instrument services with logging, metrics, and basic alerting
• Collaborate with client SDK developers to align API contracts and integration requirements
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and delivery planning
• Contribute to the development of CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and operational practices

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in backend development
• Proficient Python skills for production systems
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Strong understanding of relational databases and basic knowledge of NoSQL
• Practical experience with AWS (EC2, RDS or DynamoDB, S3, SQS, IAM)
• Experience with Docker and basic CI/CD pipelines
• Skills in writing tests
