Post-Editor

Responsibilities

• Perform light and full Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) on Swedish language outputs
• Ensure target text accurately reflects the meaning of the source text
• Provide corrections and text optimization based on specific client guidelines
• Maintain high grammatical accuracy, correct terminology, and proper cultural references
• Manage formatting, tagging, punctuation, and style consistency
• Utilize translation memory, glossaries, and style guides to meet quality standards

Requirements

• Native Swedish speaker
• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience in Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE)
• Excellent command of the English language (both written and comprehension)
• Proficiency with CAT tools and Translation Management Systems (TMS), specifically SDL Studio
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialized experience in translation and proofreading for the IT and Software sectors
• Expertise in Software UI and technical product documentation
