Principal AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy agentic AI workflows and automation solutions across enterprise functions
• Build production-grade systems including multi-agent workflows, RAG-based applications, and document intelligence pipelines
• Rapidly prototype, validate, and deploy solutions using modern AI tools like LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex
• Translate business problems into working AI systems with lightweight architectures
• Develop prompt engineering strategies, orchestration logic, and API integrations
• Build and maintain reusable assets such as prompt templates and agent design patterns
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a small team of AI engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field
• 6–10+ years of software engineering experience
• Recent hands-on experience with AI/LLM systems and deploying LLM-powered applications
• Proficiency in Python and API development
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proven experience with agentic workflows and automation solutions in production

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RAG architectures and vector databases
• Knowledge of AI evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and monitoring
• Experience working in regulated environments such as life sciences or healthcare
• Familiarity with clinical data or CDISC standards
• Experience in high-growth or PE-backed SaaS environments
