Product Manager - Security & Trust

Responsibilities

• Set the security agenda for the platform and lead the end-to-end security roadmap
• Balance security controls with developer experience to minimize friction while maintaining protection
• Lead security strategy for AI agents, including authentication, scoping, and auditing activity
• Own the security product surface, including firewalls, security advisors, audit logs, and Supabase Vault
• Define the unified access model across the platform, including SSO, SCIM, and IAM primitives
• Drive the compliance roadmap to support regulated industries
• Act as the customer's voice for security by engaging with enterprise prospects and security teams
• Create high-quality security documentation and guides

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience
• Proven experience in security, identity and access, infrastructure, or developer platform products
• Deep knowledge of security primitives such as authentication, authorization (RBAC, RLS), and OAuth
• Strong technical writing skills for drafting security disclosures, threat models, and documentation
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving multi-team RFCs
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous, and write-heavy culture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, or PCI
• Technical depth in Postgres, authentication systems, or networking primitives
• Experience designing access models for AI agents or automated systems
• Experience shipping security features required for enterprise adoption
