Product Operations Lead, Insurance Platform

Responsibilities

• Lead new product launches from kickoff to operational stability
• Translate product strategy into clear specifications for pricing, data, and engineering
• Identify and remove operational bottlenecks across product, underwriting, and engineering
• Build systems for underwriting and pricing experts to input rules and judgment
• Establish change control processes for coverage, rules, and pricing
• Maintain consistent terminology across all systems and models
• Implement feedback loops from policies, claims, and lost deals

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in complex problem solving via process and product development
• Proven ability to build scalable solutions rather than one-off fixes
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple workstreams
• High level of comfort delegating to and improving AI agents
• Grit and a self-starter mindset for a lean, fast-moving environment
• Insurance background (policy forms, SERFF) is a plus but not required
