Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide project management for IBM Z software migration projects and coordinate multiple technical workstreams
• Define project scope, develop plans and timelines, manage resources, and track execution against milestones
• Report status, scope changes, risks, challenges, and requirements to leadership and stakeholders
• Apply planning, tracking, change control, and risk management practices to support successful delivery
• Support vendor coordination and alignment of workstreams to business objectives

Requirements

• Strong technical project management experience, ideally in software migration or IBM Z environments
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams with responsibility for scope, cost, schedule, risk, and contractual deliverables
• Experience leading or supporting migration programs replacing competitive/ISV tools with IBM solutions
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and reporting skills
• Knowledge of IBM mainframe technologies and IBM Z software
• Ability to assess migration impact on existing processes and support structured change management

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification
• Experience with mainframe application development technologies such as COBOL or PL/I
