Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management via telehealth for perinatal and peri/menopause patients
• Complete pre-conception medication consultations and psycho-education
• Perform asynchronous caseload consultations and review clinical information
• Complete documentation within 24 hours of visits
• Oversee assigned patient caseload using the care registry
• Provide educational support to the care team on behavioral health conditions
• Offer ad hoc consultations to OB providers for complex patients

Requirements

• Licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner in Texas with independent practice authority
• Active DEA license in state(s) of licensure
• Active and unrestricted ANCC Nurse Practitioner certification
• Demonstrated team collaboration ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible and solution-focused attitude
• Ability to synthesize medical and psychiatric data for evidence-based recommendations
• Passion for improving perinatal and perimenopause mental healthcare
