Psychiatrist - NP/PA Supervision - Remote

Responsibilities

• Provide collaborative supervision for PMHNPs and other applicable APPs in accordance with California requirements and Tia clinical policies
• Conduct brief, recurring supervision touchpoints with assigned APPs
• Serve as a resource for clinical questions and complex cases
• Review cases or documentation when clinically indicated
• Partner with Tia clinical leadership to support safe, evidence-based psychiatric care
• Maintain required supervisory agreements and documentation

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Psychiatry
• Active, unrestricted California physician license
• Active DEA registration
• Experience supervising, collaborating with, or providing clinical consultation to PMHNPs or other APPs
• Strong knowledge of outpatient psychiatric medication management and evidence-based mental health treatment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising APPs in a virtual or telehealth setting
• Experience in women's mental health, reproductive psychiatry, or integrated primary care
• Additional active state licenses, particularly New York or Arizona
• Experience working within a multi-state healthcare organization
