QAD Business Consultant - Finance

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze financial data, operational metrics, and business requirements
• Support or lead ERP finance implementations and process improvement initiatives
• Prepare financial models, cost analyses, and forecasting reports
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and production variances
• Ensure ERP financial data integrity through validation and internal review processes
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting optimization
• Deliver client presentations, documentation, and training sessions
• Advise leadership teams on financial process improvements and performance drivers
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, MIS, or related field
• 5–15+ years of finance, QAD ERP, or consulting experience
• Expertise in Cost Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Budgeting, and General Ledger
• Experience supporting ERP systems in manufacturing or product-based environments
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with QAD ERP
• Industry experience in Life Sciences, Automotive, Electronics, CPG, or Food & Beverage
• Prior consulting experience
• Background in a senior finance role (Controller, Director of Finance)
• Lean or Six Sigma certifications
