Job description

Responsibilities

  • Monitor production performance, process conditions, and critical operating metrics using AI-powered dashboards
  • Review AI-generated alarms and process deviations to prioritize and manage industrial anomalies
  • Act as a liaison between AI insights and on-site personnel to guide operational workflows via Teams or VoIP
  • Maintain meticulous operational logs and documentation to ensure structured handoffs between shifts
  • Provide human-in-the-loop escalation support to troubleshoot complex industrial process issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, or a related technical field
  • 4–8 years of experience operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency with industrial systems including DCS, SCADA, and Historians (e.g., AVEVA)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw professional conclusions from complex data sets
  • Excellent verbal and electronic communication skills for leading technical discussions with on-site teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other process optimization methodologies
  • Familiarity with Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) systems and wireless OT connectivity protocols
  • A passion for the application of AI/ML in reducing routine monitoring loads and enhancing decision-making
