Resource Optimization Specialist

Responsibilities

• Maintain real-time visibility of available staff, client assignments, and capacity across service lines
• Forecast resource needs based on volume trends, renewals, new clients, scheduled PTO, turnover, and client cycles
• Align resources to clients based on skill set, performance history, certification, access, and availability
• Monitor utilization and productivity KPIs to support margin protection targets
• Maintain resource and skills data in QuickBase
• Contribute to weekly workforce digests and monthly workforce alignment reports
• Identify staffing risks and coverage gaps proactively
• Support development of a cross-service-line flex pool of resources

Requirements

• 2+ years of healthcare operations, resource planning, or resource management experience
• Analytical skills, including resource forecasting and performance modeling
• Proficiency in QuickBase or similar resource/planning tools
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to assess risk and drive proactive, data-informed decision-making
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Coding, CDI, or revenue cycle operations
• Familiarity with healthcare staffing models and terminology
• Experience building dashboards or reports (Power BI a plus)
