Revenue Accountant

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end revenue recognition under ASC 606 for complex revenue models including enterprise contracts and usage-based billing
• Manage the revenue close process, including deferred revenue management, unbilled receivables, and month-end flux analysis
• Partner with Sales, Legal, and Billing Operations to review contracts and assess performance obligations
• Serve as the internal expert on how new products and pricing structures impact the income statement
• Coordinate external audits and build scalable processes to ensure IPO readiness

Requirements

• Deep expertise in ASC 606, including multi-element arrangements and SSP evaluation
• Proven experience leading the revenue close process
• Experience with contract review and revenue impact assessments
• Experience operating in a pre-IPO or public company environment
• Active CPA, ACA, or ACCA qualification
• Proficiency in Stripe or similar revenue recognition tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with consumption-based and subscription billing models
• Familiarity with ASC 326 (CECL) and AR accounting in a high-volume SaaS context
• Background in Big 4 or public accounting
