Sales Development Representative Prospector

Responsibilities

• Nurture, maintain, and cultivate customer relationships from existing and newly created accounts
• Maintain a daily activity of 50-75 calls for prospective clients
• Contact customers through telephone, email, and social media to position as an industry expert
• Field incoming queries regarding pricing, billing, and product information
• Communicate the value proposition and ROI of Business Wire products
• Maintain accurate sales activity records in Salesforce CRM
• Research prospects and identify stakeholders to generate interest
• Manage expectations and overcome objections effectively

Requirements

• B2B prospecting experience
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage C-level executives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional time management and attention to detail
• Resilience and ability to overcome objections
• Self-disciplined and organized with ability to hit daily/monthly objectives

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of investor relations, financial reporting, and public relations industries
• BA/BS degree or international equivalent
• 3 years of sales experience
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com and HubSpot
