Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Commercial development of solar products and turnover in the Middle East (excluding KSA)
  • Develop commercial activity and implement strong, sustainable sales strategies for the Solar segment
  • Market research and business development: validate market potential, identify key players and projects, provide feedback on specification trends and market price
  • Acquire and maintain complete knowledge of Schréder’s range of solutions, features and benefits
  • Analyze market needs, competition and opportunities
  • Promote qualitative and technical solutions and products
  • Ensure profitable sales growth and brand recognition in the area
  • Participate in the development of the solar business strategy
  • Establish and follow up on the sales budget
  • Support and implement the company’s long-term vision, aligned with local and group strategy
  • Serve existing accounts and build long-term relationships with municipalities, ministries, private sector, and lighting associations
  • Prospect actively for new business
  • Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans to maintain the sales pipeline
  • Facilitate and/or conduct complex, long-term negotiations to reach agreements
  • Identify and prioritize new client opportunities; develop solution implementation and growth strategies
  • Prepare bids and tenders, emphasizing trading terms with governments
  • Provide reliable financial and S&OP forecasting information
  • Track results and implement actions to achieve targets
  • Consolidate and develop the customer base

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Commercial Engineering, Economics, or Engineering (mechanical, electromechanical, etc.)
  • 5–7 years of sales experience in the lighting industry
  • 2–3 years working with solar products
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
  • Advanced selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM
  • Project management and customer relationship management skills
  • Strategic thinking and prioritization abilities
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Presentation skills and ability to establish long-term relationships
  • Customer-focused, self-motivated, and target-driven

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building relationships from both warm and cold leads
  • Prior experience in the GCC/MENA region
  • Knowledge of the lighting market in the Middle East
