Job description

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality, game-ready combat vehicles and hard surface assets for 40 SOULS
  • Execute the full asset pipeline including modeling, detailing, UV unwrapping, and texturing
  • Refine and complete existing concepts by making design decisions regarding armor, mechanical logic, and silhouette improvements
  • Ensure all assets are optimized for use within Unreal Engine
  • Collaborate with art direction and technical artists to maintain visual consistency and functional design

Requirements

  • Strong 3D hard surface modeling skills
  • Proven experience creating vehicles, machinery, weapons, or complex props
  • Ability to work effectively from concepts and references while applying practical design logic
  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max
  • Proficiency in Substance Painter for high-quality texturing
  • Solid understanding of game asset pipelines and optimization techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Unreal Engine
  • Interest in dark sci-fi, post-apocalyptic aesthetics, and vehicular combat
