Senior Accountant, Revenue Accounting

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities including preparation of revenue journal entries and reconciliation of deferred, unbilled, and accrued revenue
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue reporting in accordance with ASC 606
• Apply ASC 606 guidance to customer arrangements and document revenue recognition conclusions
• Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, and Legal to review customer contracts for revenue recognition impacts
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in the revenue close process and support system enhancements
• Collaborate with Billing Operations, RevOps, and FP&A to ensure alignment across revenue processes
• Support audit requests by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 3+ years of revenue accounting experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience with SaaS and/or professional services revenue models
• Familiarity with quote-to-cash processes and revenue systems such as NetSuite
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Public accounting experience
• Experience with Salesforce
