Senior AI Engineer

Arcotech is the technology arm of Grupo Arco Educação, the largest basic education company in Latin America. We are building one of the world's largest Education Operating Systems, serving over 11,000 schools and 4 million students through advanced AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical reference for junior AI engineers, disseminating best practices and architectural choices.
• Identify proactive opportunities for Generative AI and Machine Learning to impact business indicators.
• Architect and develop advanced AI applications using Vector Databases, multimodal LLMs, and Multi-Agent systems.
• Develop and optimize pipelines for annotation, validation, and quality (evals, LLM-as-a-judge).
• Evolve the development stack, including CI/CD and LLM infrastructure.
• Build rapid prototypes to validate business and technical hypotheses.

Requirements

• Solid experience in Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, or Software Engineering focused on data.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, Git, and Software Engineering best practices (Clean Code, Unit Testing, Design Patterns).
• Experience in technical mentorship of engineering or data professionals.
• Advanced English for reading technical literature and scientific papers.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in pedagogical themes.
• Deep experience with LLMs in production at high scale.
• Experience building systems requiring recurrent interaction with domain experts.
