Senior Animator

Responsibilities

• Create animations that meet the aesthetic and technical requirements of the project
• Set a high visual bar and push for elevated quality
• Work with animation lead and Technical Art to ensure efficient delivery tools and technology
• Collaborate with design and narrative to ensure responsive and expressive assets
• Self-manage timeboxes and production workload to meet milestone goals
• Improve animation processes, workflows, and pipelines
• Respond to feedback and iterate on assets
• Utilize keyframe and motion capture techniques
• Develop expert-level knowledge of game engine animation tools

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as an Animator
• Minimum of one shipped Unreal Engine title in an Animation role
• Proficiency working directly in Unreal Engine
• Experience with Blender and related animation software
• Extensive knowledge of animation pipelines
• Strong documentation and debugging skills
• Ability to mentor junior team members
• Strong understanding of art fundamentals and aesthetic judgment

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Blender experience
• Creature or non-bipedal animation experience
• First-person animation experience
