Senior Associate, Assurance Advisory (Blockchain & Digital Assets)

Responsibilities

• Understand clients’ digital assets businesses and activities
• Perform technical audit procedures related to blockchain technologies to support financial audit teams
• Write scripts to extract data from blockchains and smart contracts or to automate procedures
• Perform digital assets evaluation for various tokens and blockchain networks, including consensus mechanisms and tokenomics
• Review custody technologies, infrastructure, private key management, and regulatory compliance
• Perform automated and static code review of smart contracts, predominantly in Solidity
• Plan and manage projects, timelines, and deliverables related to digital asset engagements
• Provide advisory and subject matter expertise for blockchain and digital assets to internal and external clients

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in blockchain and smart contracts in a technical role
• Experience coding smart contracts in Solidity
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Javascript, NodeJS, or Python
• Good understanding of Ethereum blockchain ERC standards and EIPs
• Knowledge of DeFi protocols such as staking and Dapps
• Understanding of various digital asset custody technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience reviewing and testing smart contracts and vulnerability scanning tools
• Familiarity with securing hot and cold wallets and private key management
• Experience in penetration testing and cybersecurity
• Degree in an IT-related field
• Experience writing automation test scripts
• Prior working experience in DeFi projects
