Senior Associate, Category Management

Responsibilities

• Support the Category Management team in understanding category dynamics and developing selling stories
• Assist the Sales team with analytical support for customer meetings and presentations
• Build and maintain monthly performance scorecards, dashboards, and reporting
• Lead deep-dive analyses on category landscape, SKU optimization, and competitive dynamics
• Own the sampling process for all Sales and Influencer shipments
• Provide data-driven recommendations for commercial execution

Requirements

• Background in business analytics, syndicated research, or shopper insights
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) data
• Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas)
• Experience partnering with sales teams or cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Demonstrated data storytelling skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within CPG or at a research firm serving CPG clients
• Experience with Nielsen, Circana, or SPINS
• Experience with Numerator panel data
