Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop highly-scalable mobile internet backends and microservices for millions of users
• Work with Product Owners to determine new features and user stories for complex development projects
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to architecture patterns and original vision
• Respond to production support calls for quick diagnosis and repair to maintain system stability
• Participate in all team ceremonies including planning, grooming, and retrospectives
• Mentor less experienced team members and potentially participate in on-call rotations

Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a relevant backend engineering role
• Advanced proficiency in Object Oriented Design (OOD) and analysis
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and highly transactional systems
• Proficient in SQL and experience with technologies like MySQL or Redis
• Strong experience with container and cloud solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, and iBATIS
• Knowledge of message queues such as RabbitMQ or RocketMQ
• Experience with modern behavior-driven testing techniques
