Senior Business Analyst, Clinical Applications

Responsibilities

• Administer, demonstrate, implement, train, and support business-critical clinical applications
• Analyze structure and workflow to recommend improvements for system operations
• Devise test plans, build test data, and evaluate new or enhanced application functions
• Provide application support including dictionary configuration, troubleshooting, and custom reports
• Lead successful deployments and manage project deliverables for Radiology solutions
• Create training plans and conduct user training for software upgrades and new deployments
• Maintain technical documentation for IT operations, training, and workflow analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Information Science, Computer Science, Software, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience supporting Radiology Information Systems (RIS)
• 5+ years of experience supporting Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS)
• 5+ years of experience supporting voice recognition applications
• 5+ years of experience in Radiology workflow (RIS, PACS, or EMR/EHR)
• 5+ years of experience managing IT implementation projects/applications
• Experience in a radiology office or medical facility
• Proficiency with SQL query language and Crystal Reports
• Knowledge of healthcare integration standards (HL7, DICOM, XML, HTML)
• Knowledge of RIS and PACS architecture (SQL, Microsoft Clustering, TCP/IP, Windows Server)
• Ability to support 24x7 uptime including evenings and weekends
• Ability to travel up to 15% annually

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE Centricity RIS/IC
• Experience with Philips iSite
• Experience with MedQuist SpeechQ
• Knowledge of medical modalities and DICOM Modality worklist
• Understanding of human anatomy and radiology department exams
