Job description

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and strong command of Nium’s market-leading propositions.
  • Identify, secure, and manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other clients across the Middle East and Central Asia.
  • Persuasively articulate Nium’s value proposition, negotiate terms, and close high-impact deals.
  • Consistently exceed commercial targets; generate qualified leads and convert opportunities.
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve targets on customer flows, revenues, and profitability.
  • Apply consultative selling to meet/exceed financial and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Proactively hunt via direct outreach and partners; map accounts, influence decision-makers, and close deals.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years’ sales experience selling payment solutions to regulated FIs and cross-border clients.
  • Proven track record outperforming commercial targets in past roles.
  • Ability to independently source deals, build a healthy pipeline, and position Nium’s solutions.
  • Commercially focused, value-led approach beyond price competition.
  • Customer empathy and problem-solving orientation.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset.
  • Results-oriented, client-focused, and value-obsessed.
  • Self-motivated; effective individually and within a global team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Arabic.
  • Established relationships with banks/FIs in the Middle East.
  • Experience with cross-border payments and card issuing.
