Senior Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination with customers to elicit and translate business needs into detailed functional requirements
• Collaborate with development teams to design and transition requirements into technical solutions
• Test user stories and ensure all acceptance criteria are met, including running queries to validate data
• Work within an agile environment following sprint commitments and release schedules
• Define scope and objectives for moderately complex system-related projects
• Create and maintain critical system data elements, rules, and configurable applications
• Prepare end-user procedures and manuals and provide training for new system functionality
• Mentor and train team members on technology and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a relatable position
• Experience working with business units to define needs and document consequences of change
• Experience collaborating with internal IT teams to design application solutions
• Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile methodology and transforming complex problems into user stories
• Working knowledge of SQL, C#, or JS
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Power Apps, NICE/Amelia, OpenText, Solimar, CMOD, Hyland OnBase, or Microsoft Power BI
• Understanding of moderately complex data structures and database schemas
