Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Develop automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning using IaC (Terraform, ARM templates)
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
• Write clean, efficient code to automate platform operations and integrate systems
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application deployment issues across environments
• Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards within Azure
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical platform support
• Document platform designs, configurations, and operational procedures

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in a Cloud Platform or DevOps role with a focus on Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency with Azure services (VMs, Networking, Storage, SQL, AKS, AAD/IAM)
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or BICEP
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Azure DevOps
• Strong programming skills in C#, Python, or PowerShell
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (AKS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Understanding of Azure monitoring and logging (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights)
• Knowledge of Git and agile methodologies
