Senior Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage regulatory inquiries for PLICO and affiliated insurance companies
• Research applicable laws and regulations to formulate responses to examination inquiries
• Partner with business and divisional compliance units for regulatory filings
• Identify potential risk areas based on Market Conduct findings
• Interact with industry peers and regulators regarding emerging regulatory issues
• Maintain information for regulatory report updates to keep management informed
• Support the development and maintenance of the corporate compliance program

Requirements

• College degree
• 5 years of experience with regulatory examinations in insurance or financial industry
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to handle pressure and prioritize multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

• J.D. or paralegal degree
• Experience with life insurance and annuity products
