Job Description

Responsibilities

Strategic Account Ownership

  • Establish, expand, and nurture executive-level relationships with customers across the Middle East
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders in utilities, regulators, government bodies, and energy companies
  • Take full ownership of all accounts in the region to ensure long-term retention, growth, and advocacy

Revenue Growth & Retention

  • Manage a regional portfolio representing $130M ARR
  • Ensure renewal targets are achieved or exceeded
  • Identify expansion opportunities through upsell and cross-sell initiatives

Customer Advocacy & Success

  • Partner with customers to understand evolving priorities and ensure solutions deliver strategic value
  • Achieve high retention rates and secure multiple customer testimonials/reference partnerships annually

Market & Industry Engagement

  • Represent Energy Exemplar as a thought leader in the Middle East energy sector
  • Attend and present at conferences, forums, and industry events

Operational Excellence

  • Deliver onboarding, adoption, and expansion of solutions to the highest standard
  • Maintain robust account management systems and provide insights through reporting and analysis

Voice of the Customer

  • Bridge customers and Product teams, delivering actionable feedback on market trends, regulatory developments, and requirements

Regional Expansion & Innovation

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships regionally

Requirements

  • 7+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or Strategic Consulting (enterprise software, energy, or related)
  • Deep knowledge of Middle East energy landscape, utilities, regulators, market dynamics
  • Track record managing large enterprise accounts, meeting/exceeding renewal/expansion targets
  • Ability to build and sustain executive-level relationships (C-suite, senior stakeholders)
  • Strategic thinking: translating customer challenges to actionable solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with data for customer insights, account performance, strategy
  • Willingness to travel across the Middle East
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • Experience at industry events, forums, and public speaking
  • Deep regional network within utilities, regulators, and energy sector
