Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Operations, and Finance teams to answer high-impact business questions
• Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments
• Develop predictive models, forecasting solutions, and optimization algorithms
• Write complex SQL queries and develop reliable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Design, build, and maintain executive dashboards and self-service analytics
• Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches

Requirements

• BS in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, CS, Economics, Math, etc.); MS or PhD preferred
• 6+ years of experience in Data Science, Product Analytics, or Business Analytics
• Advanced SQL skills for querying large, complex datasets
• Strong Python programming skills
• Deep understanding of statistics, hypothesis testing, and experimental design
• Experience building dashboards using modern BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Product and Operations organizations
• Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks
• Familiarity with dbt or modern analytics engineering practices
• Experience with machine learning, forecasting, or recommendation systems
• Experience productionizing machine learning models
• Familiarity with Spark and distributed computing
• Experience mentoring junior analysts or data scientists
